Dear Parents,
Congratulations to our girls' and boys' basketball teams for a great season. I want to say a special thank you to the basketball coaches this year,
Penni Cremen and Hoag Husted for the girls, and Kim Perez and Ben Perez for the boys. They gave and sacrificed their time and efforts for our kids,
and they did it all as volunteers. This is especially commendable in that three out of the four do not have children in the upper grades.
This Friday and next Monday, we have faculty in-service days. On Friday, we will be working on reviewing and revising our Social Studies Curriculum.
This is a part of our ongoing curriculum review and revision process to keep our curriculum up to date and effective. The staff will also be going
through some emergency preparedness training on Friday afternoon. On Monday, the teachers will be traveling to Tracy to go to a leadership training in-service.

- Attention 7th grade parents:
Help needed! 8th grade graduation is just around the corner. Graduation is Wednesday, June 6th at 7:00 pm. It is customary
that the 7th grade parents put on the reception following the ceremony so that the 8th grade parents can enjoy being with
their student(s) and family. We are in the planning stages and need your help. Please contact Rena Panis at 363-9458 or
email her at panis_r@yahoo.com or Christi Jeffery at 252-7664 or email her at napacj5@sbcglobal.net to find out how you can help.

Please pick up the information packet in your school office.
- The Scoop From Scrip:
Anyone and everyone can purchase SCRIP and help support APT. We have over 50 vendors which you may purchase gift cards in the
School Office. St. John's purchases the gift cards at a discount then sells the cards at face value. The difference is
the profit which APT makes. It's as simple as that! Only 5 weeks left to meet your Scrip Tuition Commitment for those who participated. Please come into the school office to make sure you are close to meeting yours. May 1st will begin the new Scrip year. Start early, meet your commitment, and earn more for St. John ’s.
- From the Minister to Youth and Children:
7th and 8th Grade Ministry:
Don't forget that Confirmation meets next Thursday, March 29th. We meet in the gym from 6:30-8:30 pm. Please make every effort
to be in attendance as we only have 2 more Learning Events for this year. If you have any questions, please contact your Adult Guide.
