On Eagles' Wings

Vol. 4, #3
From the Principal

Dear Parents,

Please remember that whenever students are on campus before, during, or after school, they must be supervised by an adult. If not, they need to check into PALS. This is especially important when we have athletic games after school. If any student is going to stay and watch the game, they need to have a parent here with them, or they must have another adult who can be responsible for them. This is an important safety issue. If a student is at a game or any other activity or event at school without designated adult supervision, they will be sent to PALS.

I want to remind those who pick up students in the main south parking lot to use either entrance. This is true regardless of what grade your child is in. The more balanced we have the flow of traffic, the smoother the process will be.

In Christ,
Joel D. Wahlers
Principal

  9. Box Tops for Education: Remember the little baggie you received at the end of the last school year to collect your box tops in? Well, it is time to turn it in! Each year St. John's earns a few hundred dollars from the Box Tops for Education organization. We will have a drawing for cool gift certificates. Every child who returns at least five box tops to the School Office is automatically entered. If you did not get a baggie, please write your child's name and grade on a piece of paper and include with your box tops and turn them in by Friday, September 15th.
