| From the Principal |

Dear Parents,
I want to take the opportunity to congratulate our second grade teacher, Lydia Schroeder, who was honored by the Kid Scoop/Newspapers in
Education Literacy organization as their teacher of the year for the Napa Valley. This is an organization that teaches with the use
of newspapers. Lydia has been involved with this program for a number of years. She will be honored in the Fall along with other Napa teachers.
I want to thank all those who attended the APT meeting this week, and were a part of our discussion about the governance of the school.
I want you to know how much I appreciate your affirming comments and valuable insights. I really came away realizing what valuable
parents we have at St. John's. I also want to thank our current APT Board, Vicky Lancaster, Maria Carter, Cassandra Garcia,
Michelle Arnold, and Tom Schrette, for their leadership and hard work this past year.

In Christ,
Joel D. Wahlers
