Dear Parents,
Each year the APT (Association of Parents and Teachers) raises thousands of dollars in support of our school.
These funds are used for a variety of things. They are used for landscape maintenance, funds for the teachers
and classroom programs, and to purchase a wide variety of materials and equipment. Each year, projected income
from fundraising is budgeted, and certain items and projects are selected. There is never enough money to purchase
everything that our staff asks for, so I am including a couple of the bigger items if anyone would like to
donate toward them.
- Computer upgrades for the computer lab and the teachers ($10,000)
- Acoustics for the Preschool Building ($3,000)
We have received a couple of generous donations toward other items from individuals who wish to remain anonymous.
We thank all of members of our community who give so much in time, talents, and money! God continues to bless
our school in so many ways!

| Hurricane Charley Relief Grant Challenge |
| Please read the following information: Our first trimester chapel money will be
devoted to helping the victims in Florida affected by the recent hurricanes. |
|
Thrivent Financial for Lutherans
is issuing a challenge: Raise $2 million to assist those who survived the recent Hurricane Charley, and
they will add $1 million in additional support. Charley struck Florida on August 13, killing 20 and causing upwards of $14 billion in damage. Millions of homes and churches were damaged or destroyed, lengthy power outages caused food to spoil and become unusable, and many find themselves unemployed after their workplaces closed down following the hurricane. The need is great!
We have currently raised $736.41. Contributions through chapel offerings will continue thru November 10th. Thank you for your support.
